Background:
4 years ago, I found out that I had breast cancer. I had surgery, chemotherapy and other types of therapy. I’m well now, but I also found out that breast cancer cannot ever really be “cured.” After going through this experience, I have had moments where I feel I have a filter in front of my eyes. It has changed how I see the world, and I want to express how I see the world in visual terms. I take pictures in those moments when I feel ‘something.’ Perhaps, it’s THE moments the world connects with my soul. I have covered these pictures with my blood, the blood that still contains cancer cells.
